Frequently Asked Questions
-
Nano Diamond Coating is an advanced surface protection technology that uses microscopic diamond-based particles to bond to vehicle clear coats, exterior surfaces, and select household or commercial surfaces. Once applied, it creates an ultra-durable, hydrophobic, and chemical-resistant layer that enhances gloss while protecting against UV damage, oxidation, road grime, and environmental contaminants.
-
Traditional ceramic coatings are silica-based (SiO2). Nano Diamond Coating incorporates diamond-based nanoparticles, which are harder and more durable. This results in stronger surface bonding, increased resistance to light scratches and swirl marks, longer-lasting protection, superior gloss and hydrophobic performance, and lower maintenance after application.
-
Depending on the package selected, surface condition, and maintenance, Nano Diamond Coating can last between 5 and 10+ years. We offer different coating systems designed for daily drivers, luxury vehicles, commercial fleets, household surfaces, and specialty applications.
-
Nano Diamond Coating significantly reduces light swirl marks and micro-scratches, but no coating makes a surface completely scratch-proof. The coating increases surface hardness, helping resist damage from washing, dust, and everyday wear.
-
Yes. A buff and polish are required, but paint touch-ups are not. Proper surface correction ensures optimal bonding and prevents sealing in imperfections. This process is included even on brand-new vehicles.
-
Yes. Nano Diamond Coating is extremely versatile and can be applied to vehicles (cars, trucks, SUVs, recreational vehicles), RVs and trailers, marine vessels, wheels, glass, trim, leather upholstery, plastics, commercial and industrial surfaces, and select household surfaces. Custom applications are available upon request.
-
No coating eliminates maintenance, but Nano Diamond Coating makes maintenance significantly easier. Dirt, bugs, brake dust, and water release effortlessly, reducing wash time and frequency when maintained properly.
-
Maintenance is simple and similar to normal care. Touchless car washes are ideal. Automatic brush car washes should be avoided when possible. Drying with a microfiber towel is recommended. We also offer aftercare guidance and bi-annual maintenance treatments.
-
Many vehicles qualify for same-day delivery depending on the job. Standard-size vehicles typically take approximately 5 hours plus a 3-hour cure time. Full-size trucks may require 8 hours plus cure time. Boats and heavily corrected vehicles may require multiple days. Proper preparation is the most time-intensive step and determines final quality.
-
Absolutely. Applying Nano Diamond Coating early is ideal. Even new vehicles benefit from light correction due to factory imperfections. Early protection helps preserve and enhance the original finish long-term.
-
Yes. Expect deeper gloss, richer color, increased clarity, and a wet-look finish. Many clients say their vehicle looks better than new.
-
For clients who value long-term protection, easier maintenance, and preserved resale value, Nano Diamond Coating offers strong long-term value compared to traditional waxes and sealants.
-
Waxes and sealants last weeks to months. Nano Diamond Coating lasts years and provides superior durability, chemical resistance, gloss, and long-term protection.
-
All services include a 5-year warranty. With bi-annual maintenance treatments, warranty coverage can extend up to 10 years. Full warranty details are explained at the time of service.
